The objectives of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society are to further the creative efforts of its members, to spread knowledge and cultivate interest in the transparent watercolor medium.

Artist Statement
I am a Brooklyn based textile designer/ consultant, adjunct professor at FIT and a cook with a passion for all things colorful and tasty.
In 2016 I started Charlton Designs Brooklyn, which is a line of scarves and products for the home based on my water colors of fruits vegetables and flowers. The paintings were created in classes at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and at my home studio.
After years of designing scarves for clients it is great to see my own art work in production and out in the world. I love painting, teaching, consulting and cooking.
