The objectives of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society are to further the creative efforts of its members, to spread knowledge and cultivate interest in the transparent watercolor medium.

Inspired by the beauty of nature, I try to use the unique qualities of watercolor to portray a subject in a compelling, aesthetically pleasing manner. The fluid and often unpredictable nature of the medium helps to create a sense of spontaneity and energy in a painting.
